The school is an active fund raiser with a fund raising committee that has representation from staff, governors and parents. The committee is pro-active, meeting regularly to identify different events and activities that will provide enjoyment to those participating but will also to raise much needed funds for school. Recent events have included fayres, raffles, sales, car wash, firework displays etc.
The school is extremely well supported by private individuals, community groups and businesses too that provide support through much needed fund raising. Donations are always extremely gratefully received and enable the school to provide specialist support and resources above and beyond what the local authority can provide for us.
Currently the school is raising money to support the Hydro pool refurbishment. This is a much needed resource that supports the complex learning and physical needs of our children and currently is too small and is in constant need of repair. We have a registered charity account where all funds can be used to support match funding bids.
